sommeil.ai is a directory: we list existing sleep tools and gather, for each one, the information that helps you choose. We do not test products and we do not give them a score.
What a listing contains
Each listing describes verifiable facts, not impressions:
- the tool type and the platforms available;
- the pricing model, the price observed and whether a subscription is required;
- availability in French and the countries where the tool is offered;
- whether artificial intelligence is used, when it is;
- the level of published scientific evidence on the approach.
When a fact could not be confirmed, it is marked as unknown rather than guessed.
How tools are selected
We keep tools that are genuinely available for sale or download, with an active official website and an accessible privacy policy. We exclude those that promise to cure a sleep disorder, those presented as diagnostic without authorisation, and abandoned products, except to flag that they are no longer sold.
Where the information comes from
Data comes from each tool's official website, its terms and documentation, and from the scientific publications cited on the listing. Each listing shows the date its pricing information was recorded; only the publisher's own website is authoritative.
The evidence level is presented as published: published studies, partial clinical validation, no known evidence, or medical device status. This label describes the available literature, not our opinion of the product.
The sources of a listing are split into two blocks. “About this product” gathers references that concern the tool itself: device validation, clinical trial, regulatory authorisation. “Background on the approach” gathers general work on the category (for example a review on white noise), which is not evidence for the product cited. When no work specific to the product exists, the listing says so explicitly rather than relying on general references.
What we do not do
- We do not test tools and display no score.
- We do not give medical advice.
- We receive no commission: every link leads to the official website.
How often we update
Listings are reviewed when a major version ships, on request, or when something is reported. The date a listing was last updated is always visible, and a fact that could not be confirmed is marked as unknown.
Correction policy
Found an error? A price that changed? Use the “Report an error” button on the listing, or the Contact page. We review every report.
